Napoleon Hill made me understand that Education goes beyond its conventional definition.
True and substantial tertiary education is that which moulds the student all-round.
In his words
“An educated man is one who has developed the faculties of his mind that he may acquire anything he wants, or his equivalent without violating the rights of others”
This matches its Latin origin ‘educo’ meaning
"To develop from within", "to draw out".
If you’re all out for your education degree don’t forget that Life awaits you.
This is not to belittle proper focus on academics in any way
In my native Language, the University is called 'Mahadum' which means in simple terms
“to know further” or “to know about yourself”
That is why I can infer that:
1. An all-round student has a higher chance/edge over the other after school.
2. An all-round student has built and holds higher value after school.
3. An all-round student has developed from within.
4. An all-round student has a strong grip on character, intelligence, and personality.
📌 Don’t be an overly academic student without getting well-rounded.
What are your thoughts on these?
What additional things did I fail to mention?
Reshare if you find this kind of education insightful.
